"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls." Joseph Campbell
You found me, pursued me,
held me so fine You fed all of my passions
time after time
We’d close in more intimate,
as lovers will do Then run away scared,
as I play the fool
Come on back through
my open door I’ve left it cracked open,
just as before Only for you,
no matter you’ve roamed Always come back to my
home sweet home
Teasing and pleasing,
our fire so hot I’m captivated by you,
like it or not And my feelings,
I know scare you away I think maybe you’ll
stick around, some day
Foolish as can be,
I again set you free Oh wait, that’s you…
running from me Here we are again,
goodbye sweet friend It seems this time
we’ve reached our end
Not so fast,
more time has passed And look who’s back
again at long last How long will it be
that we play this game? I mean it’s fun,
but something has changed
As you continue
to light up my heart Same as you have
right from the start Even if the fire
don’t shine as bright It’s only you that
I have in my sights
Months to years,
and to me it seems clear I want you; you want me,
let go of fear Hang on this time;
let’s see what transpires It seems we’ve built
more than just fires
So come back through
my open door I’ve left it cracked open,
just as before Only for you, no matter
you’ve roamed Always come back to my
home sweet home
